One person was killed, while two others were hurt in falls during an arena concert that Phish held in San Francisco on Sunday.

The legendary jam band was performing at the Chase Center near downtown. A San Francisco police spokesperson said in a statement.

The statement stated that the first victim, identified as an adult male, was killed on the spot. According to the spokesman, there is no suspicion of foul play.

The spokesman Robert Rueca declined to comment on whether the person fell from an elevated level, citing an ongoing investigation.

A witness cited by the San Francisco Chronicle stated that he was on the top row of the arena which also houses the Golden State Warriors. He saw the man fall over the side.

The witness claimed that he witnessed a second person falling in another section of the arena shortly after.

Police stated that the second person fell at 9 : 45. Another adult male fell and hit another person. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. According to the statement, no crimes were reported.

It was not clear if the concert ended after the man died. The venue did not immediately respond to a request to comment. In a statement to NBC Bay Area , a spokesperson said that police would be able to answer any questions.

” We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the guests’ loved ones,” the statement stated.

The band did not immediately comment on the injury or death.
